Beluga daz3d download torrent

If it's designed to work with a figure V4, Genesis 1, Genesis 2 male, Genesis 2 female, etc. Link to the product page. Personally, I prefer that these be plain text URLs i. Images of the product are nice. Uploading them to hosts that allow direct links to the image itself, without having to load the bloated crap web pages typical of image hosting sites, is much appreciated.

I would actually rather get a plain-text URL direct to an image on the product vendor's site, that I can paste into a new browser tab, than a hotlink to a bloated image host web page that takes forever to load on my dialup connection yes, I actually download my torrents somewhere else. I also really appreciate it if that folder has at least one image in it better than zipping it up with the product IMO so I can quickly see what I've got on my hard drive if the file or folder names aren't ringing any bells.

Organization: I know people who upload to file hosting sites are fond of putting archives inside of archives, for various reasons.

That said, I do prefer one extra folder, at the top level i. That way, when you extract, things stay nice and tidy. Above I said contained in only one archive, I meant no nesting archives; many products come as sets of 2, 3, or more archives, and that's perfectly fine. The greater the number of products you zip into a single archive, the more baby unicorns are sent to Hell to be tortured for eternity.

It forces downloaders to download everything, even if they only want 1 of the x products you've zipped together. This high quality and detailed hair comes in multiple colors to fit any situation.

Give your forest female a fashionable look with this ensemble. Ayunia is only optimized for Iray Uber Shader. Add or remove any accessories you want to get the perfect setting for your renders. Includes an Iray preset; not sure if this means the default assets as-loaded are 3Delight, or what. Includes hand poses and material presets for Iray and 3Delight. Sid Captain Hot Lips. Please don't post about threads you would like to see. Create threads you would like to see.

And my experience of good practice guidelines is that the only people who read them are the people who don't need to. Morlock Original Poster. Edit: I think I missed your point the first time through, which was that I should have just gone ahead and made my comment into a thread first.

I suppose my original intent was to hash out the details of a good torrent; it's not like I'm the god of uploading or anything. Edit: and pinning this thread will make it easier for people to find and link to in torrent comment threads. I pretty much agree with all your points.

The title might get a little long if we always include all the prerequisites, though. Some requirements are extensive, in rare cases, so I would add a note in the description. I will put the product title and usually add figure requirements like V4 or whatever flavour of Genesis if there is some ambiguity for different products with the same name especially hair, there's one for V4, one for Gn1F, one for Gn2F, one for Gn3F.

I use Gn1,2,3 for Genesis myself; something about Poser using G1, G2 for their own figures at some point. Many texture set add-ons have the base item included in the product name, some don't.

I'll add a link in the description to the required base item torrent if not already in the same torrent if it exists and it should if uploading an add-on, else, why are you uploading it? The SKU's are unique for a given site, so, combined with the vendor name, they should be the primary key. Adding it to the title or description would be a time saver. A URL to the product not hotlinked, as you say makes it easy to get all the info you need about the contents if you want the full monty.

Oops, my bad, sorry about that. Not sure how but I misread "torrents" for "threads". I've updated the title. Nobody knows everything. The best way to find out more about something is to share what you know and invite feedback. Or you can post in the Account Issues section of this forum and a mod will edit the description for you.

I'm not talking extremes--simply repeating the torrent title and nothing else--but try to avoid people having to "Page Down". If they have to page down more than twice you can almost guarantee they won't do so. I've just noticed what threw me--I was speed reading and in point 1 you say "thread" when you mean "torrent".

Sid, no worries mate, thanks. Quote: The title might get a little long if we always include all the prerequisites, though. Yeah, moderation in all things. I have zero interest in any of them. Good labeling helps us all save time.

You make a good point about hair and sometimes clothes that can be for multiple figures. Yes, Poser had G1 and G2 years back, but I can't recall ever seeing a torrent for them. I think linking to torrents for the required products is very nice, but not necessary. I for one don't mind having to run a site search to find a required product.

I just would like to know what's in the tin by looking at the label, as it were. I've been using a desktop search tool called "Search Everything" lately. I have it set up to catalog only my GC partitions and folders. It's lightning fast as long as it isn't in the middle of its daily update, which you can schedule. If the torrents have no seeders it's possible not certain, but possible that they are not the original torrents.

In any case, if they're not seeded now it's not as likely that they will be useful. Save the good stuff first. Remember that if they're being seeded you don't need to seed them--leave that to the existing swarms while you focus on your rescue efforts. Anyone downloading them from TPB will join and contribute to the existing swarms.

We don't have any rules against "dumping" as KAT calls it but it's decent to give credit to the original uploaders in the torrent description , and you don't have to worry about trackers TPB discards all trackers in uploaded torrents, and only hosts the magnet links.

Doing so won't do any harm to the torrents or the community if KAT returns--on the contrary, it will inject new life into the swarms and provide a reliable back up for if KAT or TPB goes down again. There are over torrents so you guys might want to use this thread to split the work up amongst yourselves, discuss priorities, etc.

Wow I was not expecting this when I search the forums for daz3d content. Nice work. Thanks, but I haven't actually done any work nor do I intend doing any. I'm just suggesting some work that you might like to do.

Appreciate the help here very much! Well, I figured I'd start, and got about 9 magnet links, from a combo of 1 or 2 of those links. Not a single one would allow me to download a physical torrent, at least one of them wanted me to register a free account ummmm Not wise at this point.

I'll grab whatever I can get, but at this point, it's likely to be better to simply make new torrents and upload them, as I do have a "substantial" library.

If so, get ahold of me, and let's try to recreate a little bit of ourselves here! We're starting from pretty much scratch any way you look at it, so Sound good? Well, it's where I ended up, at least I don't know where others have gone, yet, but am hoping they don't all leave me hanging!

Don't worry, there is a plan B, just want to actually check it out before I post about it though, make sure it works. I would recommend NOT creating new torrents just yet, because there is far less work involved in resurrecting the old torrents so you will get more bang for you buck, quicker.

Also, you can cherry pick the old torrents to save the ones that are of proven high value to the community, rather than taking a punt on new stuff which might or might not be well supported.

OK, tested and functional: 1. You can do similar things with other torrent clients, but the instructions below will obviously need adjusting to suit. Oh, and I'm using Windows and Chrome so, again, if you're using something else the instructions may need tweaking. Right-click on the torrent name to open the page in a new tab. Right click on the magnet link and copy Then alt-tab to Tixati and paste You can paste multiple magnet links into Tixati so just keep switching back and forth collecting the torrents you want.

Just do three to start with, to get the hang of the process. You can do more later if you choose. Leave all the torrent pages open! When you're done, click Open at the bottom of the box you have been pasting the links into in Tixati Wait for 5 minutes or so while the. A "Load Transfer" box for the first torrent will appear. Click Stop. Click Stop for all similar boxes which show up and if you're given the option at any point to "apply to all" then tick that to save yourself some work.

Note that if they're single file torrents they may not appear as. Then pull up a TPB upload page, and select the torrent file you want to upload.

Alt-tab back to the the KAT page with the appropriate torrent description hence why I told you to leave it open and copypaste that to TPB. You may have to do a bit of format tweaking.
