Nzb files not downloading

Please post the log-file. Here is the log file. The Binding Socket error is because I ran the 'nzbget -s' command while the deamon was running and the permission denied errors shown are because I added the postprocess script into the wrong place which I amended.

The rest of it, as you will see has no errors. Update: Forgot to mention that downloading is not an isse through my firewall or ISP because I ran a download using NewsRover client and that downloaded to my PC without issue. After the message "Collection xxx found" another message should be printed - "Collection xxx added tot queue" and then the nzb-file should appear in the list of downloads.

Please delete all files in NzbDir, then try to add a file via web-interface. Does it print message "Collection xxx added to queue"?

Were the nzb-file in NzbDir renamed? It should be renamed to xxx. Nzb file is uploaded and Message shows that it is found, however the file is added with rw-r--r-- permissions. I think that it something to do with the fact that the share is a CIFS share with www-data as the owner and group but the deamon is running as root user and does not create the file with rwxrwxrwx permissions.

It does not display that the collection was added to the queue and the files are not being renamed to xxx. Set NzbDir to a local directory for a test. It looks like the process hangs on parsing of nzb-file. This is performed via library libxml2. This is because Usenet does not have automatic error-correction. This turns out to be only a small inconvenience. The PAR files contain error-correction data and are used to check, and if needed, repair the files you download.

RAR is popular because it is a very good compression method. Then you extract the files contained within the RAR archive. RAR archives often come in sets of files. That is, a large file will be chopped up and stored in dozens of RAR files. If you are missing one or two segments, you can usually have the PAR files magically recreate them, but in general, you want to make sure to collect all the segments. Many of the people who create the files that you will download via the NZB method are audiophiles and videophiles who are very exacting about the files they create.

They will use any technology that makes their files better and smaller, and use a wide array of methods. You will need to install these codecs, but they are free and easy to use.
